Free coloring pages you can colour online or print
This online coloring book has 131 coloring pages, from animals like the cat, lion and octopus to everyday things like a teapot, a bicycle or a birthday cake. Every page is made from a real doodle that a person drew in about twenty seconds, so the pictures have a friendly, hand-drawn charm that is perfect for kids, and relaxing for grown-ups too. We thicken the lines and close the small gaps so the fill bucket colours each area neatly.
Each subject has many different drawings. Press Another to see how a different person drew the same thing, and you will quickly find a version you love. Colour it on screen, print a blank sheet for crayons and pencils, or save your finished picture as a PNG.
How to colour a page online
- Choose a page. Press Pages and pick one of the 131 subjects, search for one, or roll the dice for a random page.
- Pick a colour from the 24 crayons in the palette, or press the rainbow swatch to mix any colour you like.
- Tap an area with the fill bucket to colour it in one go. Tap again with another colour to change your mind.
- Add details with the brush. With Stay in lines switched on, your brush can never go over the outline.
- Zoom in with the + button, by pinching with two fingers, or with Ctrl + mouse wheel to reach tiny areas.
- Print or save. Print a blank page or your coloured version, or download it as a PNG image to keep and share.
Tips for great-looking pages
- Start with the big areas. Fill the body and the background first, then pick out small details like eyes, windows or spots.
- Colour the background. A soft sky blue, a pale yellow or a light pink background makes the black lines pop and the picture look finished.
- Use the brush for patterns. Stripes on a tiger, spots on a mushroom or sprinkles on a donut look great with a small brush and Stay in lines on.
- Shade with a darker colour. Paint along one side of a shape with a slightly darker shade to make it look rounder.
- Try another drawing. If a page has areas that are too small or a strange shape, press Another for a different version of the same subject.
- Undo freely. Every fill and stroke can be undone and redone, so experiment as much as you like.
Printable coloring pages for kids and classrooms
Teachers and parents can use the print button to make a quick worksheet: pick a subject that matches today's topic (an animal, a fruit, a vehicle or the weather), print the blank outline and hand it out. The printed page includes a title such as "Colour the elephant!" so younger children know what they are looking at. Because the pictures are simple doodles with thick lines, they suit toddlers and early learners who are still practising holding a crayon. Older kids can try to draw their own version afterwards in our free online drawing board.

Why colouring is good for you
Colouring is a calm, screen-light activity that helps children practise colour recognition, hand control and concentration, and many adults use it to unwind after a busy day. Choosing colours, deciding what goes where and finishing a picture gives a small, satisfying sense of achievement. And because these pages come from real people's doodles, they are a nice reminder that a drawing does not need to be perfect to be fun.

Doodle Coloring Book FAQ
Are these coloring pages really free?
Yes. All 131 coloring pages are free to colour online, print and download. There is no sign-up, no watermark and nothing to install.
How do I print a coloring page?
Open the page you like, press the printer button and choose "Print blank page" for a clean outline to colour with crayons, or "Print my colouring" to print the version you coloured on screen. Your browser's print window lets you pick paper size or save as PDF.
Is my colouring saved?
Yes. Every page autosaves in your browser while you colour, so you can close the tab and continue later on the same device. Pages you have started get a tick in the page picker. Nothing is uploaded.
Does it work on a tablet or phone?
Yes. Tap with the fill bucket to colour whole areas, use one finger to paint with the brush and pinch with two fingers to zoom into small details. It works with a mouse, trackpad, finger or stylus.
What does "Stay in the lines" do?
When it is switched on, the brush only paints inside the area where you started your stroke, so you can scribble freely without going over the black outlines. Turn it off to paint across several areas at once.
Where do the pictures come from?
Every page is based on a real doodle drawn by a person in about 20 seconds. We thicken the lines and close small gaps so the drawing becomes a colouring page. Press "Another drawing" to get a different person's version of the same subject.
