How to play Draw Platforms Adventure
Draw Platforms Adventure is a side-scrolling drawing platformer. Your little hero can run and jump, but many gaps are too wide, walls too tall and dangers too nasty to get past with jumping alone. That's where your pen comes in. Anything you draw turns into a solid line made of magic ink: a bridge, a ramp, a roof against falling ink drops or a shield against cannon balls. The catch? Magic ink fades after four seconds.
- Move with ← → or A / D and jump with Space (or use the on-screen buttons on a touch screen).
- Draw a line with the mouse or your finger wherever you need solid ground. Time slows down while you draw.
- Walk or jump onto your line before it fades. Lines blink just before they disappear.
- Watch the ink bar at the top. It refills on its own, but long lines empty it quickly.
- Collect the three pink gems and touch the green flag to finish the level.
Dangers on the way
- Pits: short gaps can be jumped. Wide ones need a bridge, and some far sides are higher or lower than where you stand.
- High walls: anything taller than a jump needs a ramp. Your hero can walk up slopes that aren't too steep.
- Spikes: jump short rows; arch a line over long ones.
- Purple blobs: they patrol back and forth. Jump on their heads to squash them, trap them behind a line, or draw an arch to walk over them.
- Cannons: cannon balls fly at head height. A line in their path stops them, and a raised walkway lets you stroll above them.
- Ink storms: grey clouds drip heavy ink drops. A roof drawn above your path keeps you dry while you run underneath.
Tips for drawing platforms
- Draw late, not early. Four seconds is plenty to cross a bridge at full speed, but not if you draw it and then wander around.
- Start bridges on solid ground. Begin your line right at the edge of the floor so you can walk straight onto it without a bump.
- Use slow motion. Fell off? Start drawing while you fall: time slows down and a quick line under your feet can save you.
- Gentle ramps work best. A ramp that's too steep acts like a wall. Spread it out over a longer distance.
- Let the ink refill. Before a big gap, stop on safe ground for a second so the bar is full.
Fifteen hand-made levels
The adventure has 15 levels that introduce one new idea at a time: first gaps and ramps, then spikes, blobs, ink storms and cannons, and finally long levels that mix everything together. Every level has been tested with a scripted run that reaches the flag and collects all three gems, so a perfect three-star route always exists. The real fun is finding your own: there's no single right drawing, and creative players will find shortcuts the level designer never imagined.
Drawing platformers combine two skills: the timing and movement of a classic jump-and-run with the quick planning of a puzzle game. It's a great workout for hand-eye coordination, especially on a phone, where one hand steers while the other draws.
Playing on a phone
On touch screens three buttons appear at the bottom: left and right on one side, jump on the other. Hold a direction with your thumb and draw with a finger of your other hand. Because time slows down while you draw, there's no need to rush your lines, even in the middle of a jump.

Draw Platforms Adventure FAQ
What are the controls?
On a computer, move with the arrow keys or A and D and jump with Space, W or the up arrow. Draw with the mouse at the same time. On phones and tablets, use the on-screen ◀ ▶ and Jump buttons with one thumb and draw with a finger of the other hand. Press R to restart a level.
Why do my platforms disappear?
Every line you draw is made of magic ink that lasts four seconds. It starts blinking shortly before it vanishes, so draw your platform just before you need it rather than far in advance.
What happens when I run out of ink?
The ink bar at the top refills by itself in a few seconds. If a long bridge needs more ink than you have, wait on solid ground for the bar to fill up before you start drawing.
Does time really slow down while I draw?
Yes. While your finger or mouse button is down, the whole world runs at about a third of its normal speed. That gives you time to draw a platform under yourself in mid-air or a shield in front of a cannon ball.
How do I get three stars?
Reach the flag to clear the level. Each level hides three pink gems along the way: collect two for a second star and all three for the third. Your stars and unlocked levels are saved in this browser.
Is Draw Platforms Adventure free?
Yes. It is a free browser game with no download or account, and it works on desktop computers, tablets and phones.
